The H5 pickups are defined by an open tone, their quad-polepiece design and alnico magnets give them the power to drive the active circuit and subtly capture each nuance in the passive mode. The Active/passive circuit offers a level-matched output and tone-switching circuity that allows seamless moves from treble control to master passive tone. Superior quality gold-plated parts are used for key signal chain, providing increased conductivity while the battery alert LED installed on the back panel gives instant indications to avoid power loss during a great performance.

The neck design has a 5-pc maple/mahogany laminated construction and uses a bolt-on neck joint for additional comfort and a clear, punchy tone. The perfect balance of the neck joint is because of the hours of play-testing while the 43 mm (5 string) nut widths add to the comfortable playability.
