A - The following are possible causes for the style (rhythm) not sounding even when the [START / STOP] button is pressed.
Style volume is lowered
Press the [Function] button and check “Style Volume”. If the style volume displayed on the screen is too low (ex., lower than 20), press the [+] and [-] buttons at the same time to return to the default value of “100”.
You can then set the desired volume with the [+] button, [-] button, or number buttons [0] to [9]. After setting the "Style volume", press the [START / STOP] button and check whether the sound is heard.
*The style volume setting method may vary depending on the model. Check the owner’s manual for your model.
The style in the "Pianist" category is selected.
The styles in the "Pianist" category do not include rhythm (percussion instruments). With accompaniment on, press the [START /STOP] button and play a chord on the keyboard to the left of the split point.
A style that includes bass and chord sounds other than rhythm will sound.
A -Yes, this is possible. To install multiple packs at the same time, you must create an installation file that includes multiple packs. Import all the packs you want to install into the Expansion Manager and then select all the packs you want to install.
A - If you use the camera app on your iPhone/iPad to record a video of your performance, any ambient sound will also be recorded.

A - When using headphones by connecting it to the instrument, the sound might be faint even if the volume is turned up, depending on the specifications of the headphones. If so, please check the impedance of your headphones. Using low-impedance headphones might solve this problem.
NOTE:
In general, headphones with higher impedance will have lower volume. In that case, the sound might be faint even if the volume is turned up.
The optional headphones available from Yamaha have an impedance of 35 ohms to 48 ohms. The headphone volume control on Yamaha digital pianos and portable keyboards is adjusted to match the impedance of these Yamaha headphones.
A -Digital pianos and digital keyboards equipped with a SUSTAIN jack. If a foot pedal or foot switch does not function, check the following:
Use a Yamaha FC3A foot pedal or a Yamaha FC4A or FC5 foot switch.
The FC3A requires that the main instrument supports half-pedal functionality. Confirm that the instrument being used is compatible with the FC3A pedal.
Connect the foot pedal/foot switch to a Yamaha brand digital piano or digital keyboard. Connect the foot pedal/foot switch to the [SUSTAIN] jack.
In some cases, connecting a foot pedal (or foot switch) when the instrument power is ON or switching ON the power while pressing the pedal/switch can reverse the normal pedal effect.
If the pedal effect is reversed, switch OFF the instrument and reconnect the pedal.
The procedure is as follows:
